file permissions

Hopefully this session log will help you to set up the file (interesting
that it has permissions of 600 on my PC):

dave at daddun:~$ locate .dmrc
/home/dave/.dmrc
dave at daddun:~$ ls -l .dmrc
-rw-------  1 dave dave 26 2005-10-31 20:24 .dmrc
dave at daddun:~$ file .dmrc
.dmrc: ASCII text
dave at daddun:~$ cat .dmrc
[Desktop]
Session=default
dave at daddun:~$
