dapper and Xorg

Hi Olafur,
I have the same problem, and xserver-xorg-input-synaptics is already
present
 I can't find GLcore in xorg.conf
I always have to go to rescue mode and get the xserver-xorg setup again so
I can start gdm.
I have a old S3 video card, but should work w/o problems.

Any new direction I shall try?

 Ayan,
what's the status in your case?

Best Regards,
Sebastian

Try doing sudo apt-get install xserver-xorg-input-synaptics and take out
GLcore from your xorg.conf
