Has Ubuntu Replaced Windows on Your Box?

I first installed Ubuntu Breezy on my desktop ( a spare old drive just
in case) two days ago with no Linux experience whatsoever. After
tearing my hair out trying to get the wireless working, I learnt how to
use ndiswrapper and got that sorted (using my Dell XP laptop wirelessly
for info off Google!), getting online no probs. I then decided to
change to Kubuntu because of the look, but lo and behold, I couldn't
get the wireless working all day. So I thought sod it, if I'm going to
re-install Ubuntu, I may as well get Dapper for the hell of it. I am so
impressed with it and the community, that I am going to wipe my XP Media
Center install. Once I am totally satisfied with my desktop machine, my
laptop's going the same way. I use it for paid DJing, so I'm not taking
it lightly! I have a third PC which will retain XP for gaming.
Considering I am using a beta Operating System with only two days Linux
experience, I couldn't be happier. I'm sure that as I learn more, the
third machine will go the same route.
Cheers all.
Lex.
