Pioneer DVR-110D problems

Hi all,

Has anyone managed to burn DVD+R's with the Pioneer DVR-110D. I have flash 
upgraded the firmware to the latest 1.39 but when I burn a DVD it always 
fails with 

 723091456/728190976 (99.3%) @2.7x, remaining 0:01
/dev/hdd: flushing cache
/dev/hdd: closing track
/dev/hdd: closing disc
:-[ CLOSE SESSION failed with SK=2h/ASC=04h/ACQ=07h]: Resource temporarily 
unavailable

growisofs command:
-----------------------
/usr/bin/X11/growisofs 
-Z /dev/hdd=/home/dave/Desktop/KNOPPIX_V41.0.2CD-2005-09-23-EN.iso 
-use-the-force-luke=notray -use-the-force-luke=tty -dvd-compat -speed=12 

I manually added the patch from ...

But still  have the same problem

Anybody got around it ?
