Since I can't just drop my fonts in the truetype folder, I must use the
sudo command for each and every font.

So far I've spent a couple of hours painfully keying in the sudo command
for each font and then requesting the reconfigure for the batch.

Isn't there a faster way?

Is there some way I can just get ownership of the truetype folder so I
can just copy/move the required files there? Earlier replies in this
thread seemed to think there was such a way.

In addition, although I copied several Hebrew fonts, they don't seem to
be recognized by Open Office (yes, it's set up for Hebrew).
