ubuntu-friendly broadband?

Any broadband provider will work fine with Linux. Some ISP's many not
support Linux as far as troubleshooting, but who cares? You can get
better help online anyway. From what I can tell your only problem is
getting your linux system set up on broadband. It's not hard. Ubuntu
practically sets itself up during install. It will automatically read
network settings from your modem. If you are using a single computer
chances are you won't have to do much of anything to set it up. Get on
broadband. Dial-up is painful in comparison.
