Hi Soo-hyun,
here in munich we are a class of about 10 people, and we are very early
in our attempt to learn korean. but I hope I will be able to continue
and learn it :)
and I'm only using linux all day, lately shifted from debian to ubuntu,
so that is my natural choice for typing in korean.
the part that is difficult for me to understand is this:
hwo to enter it? I found skim, scim, the hangul module, installed
korean fonts and everything, also managed to switch input to korean,
but I have no idea what then to do.
Mait posted two links to keyboard maps, with them I managed to
enter some first sentence.
But I still wonder:
a) why are there so many different input methods all for korean?
because of different keyboards?
b) with the hangul module and the maps posted by mait I can enter
korean so far. but what do I need to type to end one sylabil
and start the next one?
for example I want to enter an-nyeong-ha-sim-ni-kka
and not an-nyeong-has-i-m-ni-kka. what do I need to press
between "a" and "s" to start a new sylabel with s?
I tried space and backspace, that works, but maybe there is a
better way?
Thanks for your help,
Regards, Andreas
