Errr, uhhh... I'm really not sure if I've tried to read an ordinary (as
in non-music) CD in Ubuntu or not. This got started when I wanted to
peruse the mini-CD that came with a new card that I'm installing. When
that failed, I tried the Ubuntu installation CD. No luck. Then I tried a
Linux Format CD. Again, no workie. But when I popped in some magazine
DVDs that I have, it Just Worked.
