No pkg-config file for xorg in Dapper? [SOLVED]

Thank you for the advice.

Actually, a poster on the Nvidia forums came up with a solution that has 
allowed me to get the Nvidia drivers installed and my card working.

All I had to do was specify the xorg modules directory when running the 
Nvidia install shell script:

 sudo sh NVIDIA-Linux-x86-1.0-8756-pkg1.run 
--x-module-path=/usr/lib/xorg/modules

I don't have the xorg.conf file properly configured for dual monitors 
yet, but at least the card is working.
