USB devices, can they be static?

Depending on the filesystem used you could set a label on this filestem.
Then everytime it gets mounted it will be /media/LABEL.

To set this put the media in, do "mount" to see which device it is, then
umount it and do (example given for vfat):

sudo mkdosfs -n <LABEL> /dev/XYZ
