Those are _not_ default repositories are are not supported by Ubuntu.
Please don't throw out recommendations like that. The real defaults work
fine for what this person is asking for (look in the
file /etc/apt/sources.list for the ubuntu default repositories, unless
you've edited it.)

I assume they give bleeding edge versions, again that's not a standard
approach, and ekiga is installed by default in Ubuntu Dapper anyway.
