hi,
if you already configured your router in windows, then the only thing
you have to do is checking that you are using DHCP.
go to 'System > SystemXXXX > Network' and check if your ethernet
connection (eth0) is using DHCP. if this is set to DHCP, then you're
ubuntu should already have recieved the correct IP, Gateway, etc...
just open a browser and surf the web.
since most routers use DHCP, ubuntu obtains at boottime all the needed
info from your router to configure network automatically.
