[Breezy] RAID1 devices removed during install and reboot

While installing breezy Colony 5 on a newly built machine (some old
parts though, an intel D815EEA motherboard, two new Maxtor 80GB hd's),
the RAID setup during install froze during creation of the RAID
devices. FYI, my setup is two 80GB hd's, as mentioned above,
partitioned like so: /hda1 and hdb1 are /, hda2 and hdb2 are swap, and
hda3 and hdb3 are /home. After doing a hard reset and starting install
again, the RAID devices were there, and I was able to continue with
installation. After booting into the newly installed system and
checking RAID status, /dev/md0 is in clean, degraded status, /dev/hdb1
has been removed. So, I put it back into the array, and two days later
both /dev/hdb1 and /dev/hdb3 have been removed after rebooting. A
check using smartctl of both drives shos that they both pass.
I'm new to manually putting a RAID together, just wondering if anyone
is having similar problems before I bugzilla this.
Thanks,
-P
