I say, I have Hoary on one partition, / and /home and everything else. But
at install Hoary will ask whether to format the selected partition. I can
answer No.
I imagine this will keep home (confirm me) but will it keep current apps
that aren't ubuntu-base?

What about Evolution's inbox? Will I lose my mail?
