Report from partially computer illiterate users

Hi,

My parents computer had a nervous breakdown so I put them on an old
computer of mine until I can sort theirs out. That computer is running
latest breezy. They'd never used Linux before and were coming straight
from Windows XP (which they seem to find remarkably difficult).

With the exception of a bug in xscreensaver
(http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=15987), they have had no
problems using it.

I set up their desktop with icons to their common programs (just like I
did for them on Windows XP), and I configured their email client (just
like I did on Windows XP). After asking if there have been any problems,
and making them feel comfortable telling me without feeling like they
should be polite ("Are you seriously telling me nothing has gone
wrong?"), breezy's usability seems to be very good indeed - although
boot times are a bit slow.
