Breezy update 21-Sept breakages

Ewww, that's awful...
You can get X back after reboot with these commands:

mknod /dev/psaux c 10 1
mknod /dev/input/mice c 13 63
/etc/init.d/gdm stop
/etc/init.d/gdm start

If you can get your net connection back, the very latest packages solve
this problem again.
