Customize default new user settings?

Hello Michael
do i understand you right?

make a login with this user.
menu's can not to be changed by default installation. better create your  
own panel and put what ever you need within. in this way you can think of  
what you realy need, rather than a bunch of everything. otherwise install  
through Synaptic the program 'smeg' (Simple Menu Editor), which is in  
universe oder multiverse.

desktop wallpaper:
right-click an the desktop. choose 'change of Desktop Background'.

default theme and screensaver
Menu >> System >> Preferences >> Themes
Menu >> System >> Preferences >> Screensaver

look around in your new system (menu), in this way you learn what you have.
