Very glad to hear of your success with Ubuntu.  But I am curious
about basing it on the response to your questions and emails.  You
see, no one has responded to the 64-bit installation question I posed
first on the web forum and then on this mail list.  Should I conclude,
based on your criterion, that Ubuntu is an unworthy distro?

P. S.  I used to get answers from the Debian folks back in the days when
I (successfully) used Debian.
