breezy: substitute hostap for orinoco

Breezy seems to contain both the orinoco and the hostap driver
in the kernel. But at install the orinoco driver gets activated
for my Senao (prism2.5) pcmcia wifi card.

How do I substitute the hostap driver for the orinoco driver.

Both hotplug and udev seem to be involved and I can't find
where to make the basic changes.

NB which version of the hostap driver is included in breezy,
   the latest stable hostap-driver-0.3.9?
