Just wondering, is there a competition here with Mandriva? Either way,
shouldn't you be comparing with at least Mandriva 2005LE, the equivalent
to 5.10 would really be Mandriva 2006.
I am currently using Kubuntu at home to try something different, and
Mandriva 10.1 at work. I prefer Mandriva for all the work they have put
in making it feel like a coherent OS and the control centre is great.
However the package management is absolute rubbish, I'm always having to
download huge files, Ubuntu seems to only ever require me to download
small files and it was only one CD! That's a deciding factor when you
are on dial up!
