audio streaming

sorry if i am a bit OT.

i have tried shoutcast for audio streaming. This time I would like to give 
users the play, forward, stop, rewind feature (a unicast type of service). 
What is the best, if possible audio only, server available in linux. I have 
been looking at Flumotion as alternative, though its multi-media.
