Actually, the modules should be loaded when the system boots. I just
plugged in my TV card and after a reboot, it was just working.

The modules related to TV card:
bttv 173776 0
video_buf 24068 1 bttv
firmware_class 11008 1 bttv
i2c_algo_bit 10248 1 bttv
v4l2_common 7680 1 bttv
btcx_risc 5512 1 bttv
videodev 12032 1 bttv

Loading the modules manual is done with "modprobe ...."

Use "lsmod" to see if the modules already loaded.

I use tvtime to watch. Synaptic or apt-get install tvtime.

The video device is /dev/video0. Sound is on /dev/dsp or /dev/dsp1 (I
don't which one is for the sound of the tv card, but tvtime chooses the
right one).

I hope this helps.

Regards, Thomas
