I tried this but the result was the same. There weren't any serious
error messages just 2 warnings like

jochen at localhost:~$ gksudo terminal

(gksudo:7194): Gdk-WARNING **: locale not supported by Xlib

(gksudo:7194): Gdk-WARNING **: cannot set locale modifiers

jochen at localhost:~$

But I doubt that these warnings caused the problems. The only show a
locale problem which caused that the passwort dialog appears in English
instead of my default language. But I still haven't a clue how to solve
the original problem.
