I used JDEE (back when it was JDE) up until Eclipse started working well
on GTK. It's definitely a nice Emacs package, but I got tired of the
clunkiness of things like context completion and debugging (they are
probably much better now, but at the time Eclipse was just so much
slicker, and had the emacs keybindings built in).
