ubuntu hoary on compaq dl360 G1

Hi,

I tried debian sarge 3.1, and almost everything worked fine out of the box.
But after I tried ubuntu on my laptop, and thought about the release 
cycle, and the believe that ubuntu = debian+extra, would be a better 
choice, I would try ubuntu instead.

But ubuntu hoary 5.04 didn't recognize my compaq raid controller.

Has ubuntu a server distribution that I do not know of, which includes 
the same scsi-drivers that debian stable has, or?
