Owner and permissions of /var/mail/me

chmod 0660 /var/mail/carthik
chown carthik.mail /var/mail/carthik

Yuk.  I like masqmail - simple, and handles both mta and fetchmail tasks
(though not as powerful as other mtas or fetchmail).  And bogofilter
instead of spamassassin.
