DOS emulator

Hello,

I'm have tried testing DOS emulator in ubuntu 5.04. I enable DOS
emulator with a full screen mode or by pressing ctrl+alt+f. And it also
shows a full screen mode. The problem is whenever I exit the full screen
mode, my resolution in the gnome gets big or is changed.

How do I fix this problem so that whenever I leave DOS emulator in a
full screen mode, I would return to my normal gnome settings.
