OpenVPN is an excellent option. It uses SSL and not IPSEC so that might
not suit your requirements. It can act as a server - install it on an
Ubuntu Linux box with



sudo apt-get install openvpn



and hey presto. Follow the README.



Download the client software for Linux or Windoze from



openvpn.net



We have tried many open source VPN solutions and this one takes the
cake. We use it to support our roaming sales force of about 30 staff
quite successfully.
