Please don't dismiss this person's frustrations. There are always areas
that need improvement. Upgrades to operating systems often cause
problems with third-party applications due to library changes, and
dealing with proprietary formats has always been a challenge. Open
source desktops also have a habit of swapping application rapidly to
follow the current "best".
This person just needs to understand that all operating systems have
issues, but most people are less frustrated with the problems they are
used to. I'm not going to turn this thread negative by listing problems
with Windows and Apple products. In the end, Linux provides a choice,
including the choice not to use it.
We should encourage frustrated users to participate in improving the
software. We should also accept their criticism gracefully. Some
people are just frustrated by technology in general.
