All idsoftware games (quake3/4, doom3) run very well on ubuntu. Also
all ut games (ut classic, ut2k3/ut2k4) run okay. They all have linux
binaries for x86 only, though.

Most of the games you mention use DirectX. You can try to emulate a
windows installation using Wine. Transgaming is selling cedega, which
promises to have the best DirectX support available. Check their
website.
