partimage

I installed (synaptic) n Breezy "partimage" and "partimage doc"
Where (on my harddisk) do I find the doc for partimage?

When starting in a terminal sudo partimage (or partimage) I get a message:
dev/ dm inode is absent
Automaticaly (clickng on YES) does not work
Manually (mknod /dev/dm) results in a message "not enough arguments)

What should I do?
