ATI all-in-wonder video input and gaim-vv/yahoo/msn

I'm running 5.10 breezy. I have a logitech webcam that
works, but I'd really like to get my camcorder via my
ati all-in-wonder video input to work instead because
the video quality is so much better. The all-in-wonder
is currently working so I can watch TV on my computer.
What might I have to do to get working with
yahoo/msn/gaim-vv? I can't seem to find out what /dev
it is, which gaim-vv seems to want to know. Any other
chat clients to suggest?
