Default to A4 paper in OpenOffice with hp deskjet

You didn't mention whether or not you checked oo's printer setting under
File | Printer Settings.



That will bring up your printer and you can check properties to see the
paper setting. 



I'm running an HPdeskjet and when installed it defaulted to letter
size.  The only other thing might be is to check the default template
on oo, perhaps it was set up to use A4?
