New to Ubuntu, familiar with Red Hat.
Ubuntu 5.1 installed, haven't done much yet except set up networking.
Everything seems in order except one thing..
Ubuntu isn't recognizing my second CPU. I have an older Intel dual CPU
motherboard (PIII 500mhz)and dmesg is reporting that the CPU count is
exceeded. I would suspect that this is due to a uniprocessor kernel, but
Before I re-invent the wheel, does anyone have a suggestion about how to
enable SMP support in Ubuntu?
