[Breezy] Hibernate is broken since final release ?

3 weeks ago I noticed that the "Hibernate"/suspend to disk feature on my
desktop, was working, out of the box, I was delighted and got addicted
to this feature in a matter of days :-)
But I have downloaded Breezy final and wiped the old Breezy, to start
from a clean sheet, and now, Hibernate is broken, it only half works :-/
That is, when I log out, I do have the option to Hibernate, so I click
on it, and it seems to work: screen goes instantly to black, no text on
the screen, constant disk activity for a few seconds, then shuts down.
However when I power the machine up again, instead of resuming the
machine to its previous state, well it does a normal boo sequence
instead, argh...
Looking at the /boot/grub/menu.lst, the kernel lines say:
kernel /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.12-9-386 root=/dev/hda2 ro quiet splash
initrd /boot/initrd.img-2.6.12-9-386
Now I am not 100% sure, but shouldn't there be an option like
"resume=/dev/something, or swap=/dev/something to tell the kernel where
to find the data to resume to the previous state ?
Can someone with a working hibernate in Breezy final, confirm this, and
tell me exactly the syntax of the required kernel option ??
Hopefully it's all that's needed to get hibernate working again, cross
fingers ! :o)
