Gnome SSH

I'm currently running Breezy Badger and have the same problem. I know
that OpenSSH is configured correctly on the server because I can log-in
from the terminal. However, the GNOME "Connect to Server..." command on
the "Places" menu only creates an icon on the desktop then does nothing
more.

As stated above, if one clicks "properties" on the context menu of the
desktop icon, a dialog is presented for entering the password. Once the
password for the server has been entered, Nautilus will permit browsing
the server by double-clicking the desktop icon.

In case anyone is interested, the corresponding Ubuntu bug for this is
'here' (http://bugzilla.ubuntu.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2529) and the
upstream bug is 'here'
