ACPI

When I turn off computer After all the messages are over it talkes more than
15 sec extra after which my computer Shuts down
Last Message is Shutting down LVM manger....
Also during Initial booting time Hoary Shows that it has failed to Some ACPI
plug_play device.....
 How can this be Resolved...
Anybody who come across this same problem....
