Hello there,



I'm new to Linux and ubuntu too.  I sort of stumbled unto ubuntu last
March and requested a copy via ship-it but I am yet to receive it. I
got my copy from the IT department head of a state univ here in our
locale 2 weeks ago.



If you want it sooner, maybe you can accept Senectus's offer or maybe
you can try IT schools in your area. I've heard STI may also have
copies. Just bring a 700 Mb CD with u.
