xhost + problems

i tried the :







"[lpc1 ~]$ xauth extract someTemporaryFilename :0.0



Then transfer the auth cookie to lpc2 via sneakernet, ftp, etc.



[lpc2 ~]$ xauth merge someTemporaryFilename"







to replace the xhost + 10.x.x.x

but it's not working... is someone knows why ??
