Firefox and Livelink

Is anyone out there using Firefox on Hoary to talk to the Livelink
document management system from a company called Opentext
(www.opentext.com)? I've been trying and clicking on parts of the user
interface just causes Firefox to hang.

It seems to be a bit that requires Java to work, so I've followed the
instructions on the Ubuntu WIKI to build a Java .deb file and install
it. Java applets on other WEB sites seem to work OK.

I've also tried it with Opera, and that works fine too, so it seems to
be specific to Firefox and Ubuntu. (A colleague tells me it works fine
on Debian Sarge!)

I'm running with the latest updates.

Our Livelink support people are asking Opentext about this, but thought
I would ask here as well, just in case!

Regards,
Tony.
