Another possibility is to install LTS (breezy)P. There are two ways:

1. If you have upgraded to Breezy, install edubuntu-desktop (a pretty
long installation). It would install also a good number of educational
software, from TuxMath to Kstars, but in configures the powerful box
for using it for serving diskless terminals.

2. Install ltsp-server, ltsp-standalone and ltsp-utils.
