Hello,
When I reboot, I can enter username and password in the graphical login
screen. After I enter my username and password, but afterwardns I get
the brown screen, but I don't get anything else loaded up. In the past, I
got a status window that showed the Nautilus Window Manager and other
stuff opening. But now, I get nothing.
I AM able to get to the tty1 via Cntl+Alt+F1. This is how I am able to
write this email. I am writing this email via w3m (cli/ text browser).
But I cannot use any of the graphical programs.
Perhaps I deleted a package that was necessary. Perhaps when I deleted
and then reinstalled Evolution2, synaptic had me remove a package which
I now need.
What must I do to get back my GUI graphical desktop and all its
programs?
Please help me.
jc
