Upgrading Hoary to Breezy?

In addition to the above... since I have installed breezy I have had a number of
problems for example:

1. gDesklets is using much more RAM than in the past even though it is the same
setup and it is due to Python running in the backgroup according to "top".

2. I cannot connect to my private network. I cannot get the internet through my
Windows gateway. NO FIREWALL... I cannot figure out why this is happening.

Host: Windows = int2 inet 192.168.0.1 mask 255.255.255.0
Client: Linux = eth1 inet 192.168.0.2 gw 192.168.0.1 255.255.255.0
                lo   inet 127.0.0.1   mask 255.0.0.0

It seems like Breez has an internal firewall or something... does it? I really
need help.
