Hello List,

I have the following problem:

Beeing german, I would like to use a german locale. (for example
de_DE at utf-8). I know I can set the default locale with dpkg-reconfigure
locales.

When I do, I have German locales, for example umlauts in gnome-terminal
or a week from mon-sun in the calendar.

But I also get german texts in some apps. I don't like these german
texts, i'm very used to the english dialogs and menus. How can I avoid
changing the apps to german?

Thanks

Frederic
