Don't forget to save your bookmarks first if you try that! Bookmarks are in

  ~/mozilla/firefox/werid-dir-with-your-profile/bookmarks.html

In my case that would be:

  ~/.mozilla/firefox/beg5pfvq.default/bookmarks.html
