Mysql Server Question

Andy, I dont have any answers yet but, in another forum I read that 
somehow you have the choice of telling the installing app what user and 
group it is apart of. I do not think I have seen that anywhere with 
Ubuntu - or its nicely covered up - for experts only -> of which we are 
obviously not.
