Hi I am using the intel pro/wireless 2200 BG. This particular wireless
card has some roaming feature which when activated, will attempt to
connect to the network with the strongest signal detected. Some how
this normally a problem when used with most routers. However when used
with some routers the card will attempt to connect to other networks
very often. I unfortunately have such a router. In windows, to deal
with this problem I had to use a special set of drivers which at that
time was only available from IBM's website. Basically the drivers
gives you the options to disable this roaming feature. Since you
mentioned something about nids wrapper, I am assuming you are using
windows drivers. Maybe your problem occurs because you are using a
wireless card with such a feature. If that is the case, changing the
drivers might help.
