Segmentation fault

I installed mysql-server and mysql-admin.  I ran mysql-admin and
selected User Administration (after looking through Server Information,
Service Control, and Startup Parameters).  As soon as I selected User
Administration, I saw a new page with controls being drawn, and then the
app goes away completely with the message "Segmentation fault" to stdout
(or stderr, not sure).

Additional info:  I was logged in with ssh as a normal user, then sudo
su to root, then exported XAUTHORITY appropriately so mysql-admin would
display on my local machine while running on the remote machine (both on
my home LAN) where mysql-server was running.
