cd burning/writing program

hi,
my laptop have a DVD-ROM/CD-RW ability. but i do not know how i can write a 
cd at my Ubuntu Hoary installed on Targa Visionary P (7521T) with 368 MB 
RAM, 20 GB, 1100 MHz.
may i have to install one of the cd burning programs to use my cd-rw disk.
