Hmm . . . You may be right.  I've done this with Win98 and I hadn't
expected WinXP to be any different.  In that case, do the same but make
the Ubuntu disk hdb and the WinXP disk hda.  Have to boot from the
install cd or the live cd to fix grub.

I think that I'd try to run XP on hdb first just to see what happens.
Only have to switch the jumpers if it doesn't work.
